Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms aim to set out the rights and obligations between the Service and users, as well as the conditions of use, in connection with the use of norirang (the “Service”).
Article 2 (Definitions)
- “Service” means the norirang mobile application and related web pages.
- “User” means a person who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms.
- “Content” means videos made public on external platforms such as YouTube and their metadata (titles, thumbnails, etc.).
Article 3 (Description of the Service)
The Service provides the following features so that users can easily find and listen to music.
- Search and playback of public videos organized by artist and genre
- Search by voice (“Search by voice”)
- On-device storage of favorite artists (My Artists) and playlists
This Service is provided free of charge, and advertising (Google AdMob) may be displayed on screens such as the song playback screen in order to operate the Service. Google’s advertising policies and privacy policy apply to data processing related to advertising.
Article 4 (Notice Regarding YouTube Content)
- All videos are played through the official YouTube player (IFrame), and the Service does not download, store, or convert videos or audio.
- All rights, including copyright, to the Content belong to the respective rights holders and YouTube; the Service neither owns nor represents them.
- The availability, accuracy, and continuity of Content follow the policies of the original publisher and YouTube, and the Service does not guarantee them (e.g., playback is impossible if a video is deleted or made private).
- This Service uses YouTube API Services, and by using the Service, users are deemed to agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.
- With respect to information collected and used by YouTube, the Google Privacy Policy applies.
Article 5 (Users’ Obligations)
- Users must comply with relevant laws and these Terms.
- Users must not use the Service by improper means or engage in acts that infringe rights holders’ rights, such as reproducing, distributing, or extracting Content without authorization.
- Users must not engage in any act that interferes with the normal operation of the Service.
Article 6 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)
The Service may change or suspend all or part of what it provides as operationally or technically necessary, and where there are unavoidable reasons such as policy changes by external platforms, it may be changed without prior notice.
Article 7 (Disclaimer)
- The Service is provided free of charge and “as is.” The Service does not warrant fitness for any particular purpose.
- The Service is not liable for damages arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, such as acts of God, failures or policy changes of external platforms (such as YouTube), and network failures.
- Responsibility for the contents of Content lies with the publisher of that Content.
Article 8 (Intellectual Property)
Rights to the Service’s design, UI, organized data, and the like belong to the Service. However, copyright in external Content belongs to the respective rights holders.
Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute between the Service and a user shall be subject to the court determined by the procedures prescribed by the relevant laws.
Article 10 (Amendment of the Terms)
If these Terms change, we will announce the effective date and the details of the changes on this page.
